Hi, I’m Ian Taylor. Welcome to Visionary Land & Planning.
My journey in property began at university, where I trained as a Chartered Surveyor studying Estate Surveying. Over the last 25+ years, I’ve worked across almost every sector of the property industry.
I started my career as an Asset Manager for a fund manager, focusing on adding value through strategic development and asset management. In 2004, I transitioned into residential property, building a buy-to-let portfolio for myself and managing acquisitions for private clients. Throughout this time, I have gained deep, hands-on experience navigating the complexities of the planning system, land assembly, and both residential and commercial development.
Why I founded Visionary Land & Planning?
Over more than two decades working with both industry professionals and homeowners, I noticed a consistent problem: seeking planning permission on your own is incredibly difficult, expensive, and risky.
